NLHS students from Ms. Wendt's business class have made it to the final four teams in today's Virtual Financial Quiz Bowl competition. They began at 8:30 this morning online and began answering financial questions beating out teams from surrounding communities. These whiz kids: Ciara Hendrickson, Natasha Reynolds, Sabrina Wolf, and McKylie Green are currently in the semi-finals battling against Royal. GO ROCKETS!

STEINMETZ WINS MODERN WOODMEN SPEECH CONTEST
Today we held the Modern Woodmen Speech Contest for Grades 5-8. Only 7-8 grade students were in the final round. Congratulations to 8th graderJayden Steinmetz for winning the competition against his peers. Brayen Morey (Grade 8) came in second, with Claire Haske (Grade 8) coming in third place.

REMINDER: Spring Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences will begin tomorrow - Thursday, March 4 from 4:00-8:00 pm and conclude Friday, March 5 from 8:00 until noon. There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, March 5.

Attention High School Students: The music department is currently planning a trip to New York City for Spring Break of 2022. More details will be released in the coming weeks, and we will be taking commitments for the trip this spring. You need to be a band or choir member to travel with us. Also, keep in mind that you may have fundraised dollars saved that can be used for this trip. Please talk to Mr. Spicer or Mrs. Walker if you have any questions, or go straight to Mr. Hansen to make sure Band or Choir are on your schedule for next school year. We don't want anyone left out.
