HART RECEIVES NLHS SEPTEMBER ART STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to Jaiden Hart as being selected by Mrs. Costello for September's Art Student of the Month. Mrs. Costello states, "Jaiden is in an independent study art class where projects and mediums used are set by me and the student. I couldn't ask for a more positive, dedicated student as Jaiden. She not only sets challenging goals and strives to reach them but also is inquisitive and wants to learn more."

The Family and Consumer Education Student of the Month for September was Peyton Torkelson. Peyton consistently displays curiosity, hard work, and enthusiasm towards her learning. Working with Mrs. Patterson's first grade class has allowed her to demonstrate skillful guidance and successfully lead students through learning opportunities. Congratulations Peyton.

President Trump extends free meals for children for entire school year. The USDA previously extended child nutrition waivers through December 2020 based upon available funding. The extension allows schools to continue free meals through June 30, 2021.
