On Thursday night, New Lisbon Seniors Rowyn Sloan and Landry Flint were recognized for their excellence in the Career & Technical Education Area by being awarded the 2026 Shining Star award at the TUMMA (The Upper Mississippi Manufacturing Alliance) Banquet held at Western Technical College. 

Rowan Sloan has taken many Technology & Engineering courses and is employed at DEC-USA inc through the New Lisbon School to Work Program. Rowyn plans on going to technical college to become an electrical lineman. 

Landry Flint has taken many Technology & Engineering courses and is employed at DEC-USA inc through the New Lisbon School to Work Program. Landry plans on entering the workforce as a welder upon graduation. Great Job, Rowyn & Landry!

Mr. Morey was also recognized as TUMMAs teacher of the year for the work that he does to promote career readiness and build partnerships with manufacturing and other industries to create employment and success for his students.   Congratulations!
