Foods Class

Food Tech students gathered, processed, and preserved apples last week to gain a better understanding of the time and effort required in our food systems to sustain life.  Students reflected, "Making food last takes a lot of work.", and "Humans keep working to make life easier." Projects like this help students experience our food systems firsthand and consider local foods and sustainability from a new perspective.  A big thank you to Janell Jacobson for letting us pick and use apples from her tree.  We really appreciate this partnership.
