This K-12 Library Media Center of New Lisbon School District is a learning/teaching environment. The New Lisbon IMC shall exist to promote the intellectual, cultural, social and ethical development of the student body and to provide print and digital books, periodicals and audioviusual materials which extend and deepen the students' experiences encompassed into the curriculum.

The school librarian shall recognize that the purpose of education is to investigate ideas and prepare individuals for productive lives. Therefore, the school library and audiovisual facilities will provide comprehensive collections of materials representing a wide diversity of views.
