what you thought or felt as you read AND why.

what you learned about a particular character.

your personal opinions of charcters AND based on what.

what would happen if you were in the same situation.

what event you find confusing in the story (use page number).

the pictures or images you see, feel, relate too as you are reading.

what story event is important to the story so far AND why.

what the author has done to build suspense AND how you respond.

how the dialect affects your understanding and / or sense of the character.
