  WHY STUDY MYTHOLOGY:

Much of the Greek, as well as other, mythology shows up in our daily lives. The western civilization developed from a mythology base.  The ancient peoples of the Mediterranean heavily influenced the origins of Western civilization.  Greece is often known as the Cradle of Western Civilization for its contributions to literature and the arts, language, discoveries in science and developing a democratic society.
