JH/HS Social Studies
Welcome to Mr. Pfaff's web page. I began teaching in the fall of 2001 and came to New Lisbon in the fall of 2004. I'm also the advisor for National Honor Society. I graduated from New Lisbon in 1997 and from UW-River Falls in 2001. I live in the New Lisbon district with my wife and 4 kids.
My 1st semester classes are: 1st Block US History 2, 2nd Block Economics, 3a US History 2, 3b World History and 4th Block Prep. On this site you will find the assignments for each day, upcoming quizzes and due dates. My extension is 1313, or please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Guidelines and Expectations
1. Do your work. Late work is accepted, but 10% will be deducted. All quizzes must be made up ASAP before school or during ELT. After a week the grade will be a zero, but you can still make it up. Homework must be brought to class and complete when I collect it to be on time. Only use a pencil or a blue or black pen.
2. Come to class. Unexcused absences or truants mean a zero on everything missed. When you are absent, find out what you missed before school not in the middle of class.
3. Be respectful. Raise your hand. Don’t backtalk and argue. Watch your language. Leave other students alone. Be in your seat when class starts. Removal from class means a zero on all grades for that day.
