Course Description: Are you interested in a career that involves working with children?  Can you see yourself as an elementary teacher, pediatric nursing, or day care provider?  Learning activities in this course will be devoted to the study of the developing child from birth through childhood.  Healthy prenatal development, physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of children will be studied.  Students will be involved in organizing, planning and carrying out activities for school age children.  Childcare skills will be demonstrated during time spent in elementary classrooms.
