My Mission Statement:
I will be an educator who creates a safe, healthy learning environment for all of my students.  I will work hard to motivate each student to grow intellectually and reach their full potential.  I will show students the importance of Technology & Engineering education and how it relates to other content areas and life.  I will assess student growth in multiple ways so each student’s strengths may be exhibited. I will create a community of inspired learners who are connected to other members of the class, the school, the community, and the world.  

Vision:
I hope to become a life long learner who motivates and inspires students to become self-directed, self-reliant, self-appraised learners that go out into the world and make a difference.  

Values:
In order to be a Master Teacher I must demonstrate the values and qualities that I want my students to show on a daily basis.  In other words, “Practice What I Preach.”  These values are:

  *Honesty-being truthful with myself and others while offering constructive feedback

  *Leadership-being a role model for students to look up to through my positive actions and motivating them

 

  *Respect-responding sensitively to others while honoring individualism

  *Responsibility-being accountable to myself and others while striving for excellence

I will do my best to portray all of these values every single day. 

I will be positive, encouraging, and always working to put the student first.
