Music Appreciation (MA6) is required for all 6th graders.  Mr. Ellison's class has MA6 every day during the 2nd quarter and Mrs. Jensen's class has MA6 every day during the 3rd quarter.

Music Family Tree

What music do you listen to now?  Who inspired them?  With this project we will explore the common sources of inspiration for today's artists.

 

GarageBand

This project takes place mostly in the computer lab.  Students will have the opportunity to explore the many possiblities that exist via the application GarageBand.  After our initial exploration, we will begin to go into specific directions as time allows.
