Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!  My name is Karen Helbing.  This is my 23rd year with the New Lisbon School District during which I've taught both second grade and first grade.  In 1988 I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI along with a minor degree in computer studies.  I also received a Masters of Education in Professional Development from UW LaCrosse in 2000.  I am excited for a great school year!  So, check out this site to see what's happening in our classroom.
