Course Grade Information

Grades will accumulate throughout the entire semester or term.  Therefore a semester or final grade is not an average of six-week grades.  The grading scale for all classes will be the following according to school policy.

A.........92-100%

B.........83-91%

C.........74-82%

D.........65-73%

Individual classes will use weighted categories in determining grades as shown below.  Keep in mind that this means that a point in one category is not equivalent to a point in another category.

Algebra 8/Algebra 1/Algebra 2                  Applied Math 1 and 2                                      Calculus/Stats

Homework - 40%                                      Homework - 20%                                   Homework – 20%

Tests/Quizzes - 60%                                 Labs - 30%                                           Tests/Quizzes – 80%
